Fashion always moves and transcends beyond the expected. It is the aspiration of many, but only a few own it and it reflects in their unique styles. The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2017, in its 13th edition celebrated its style statement which is unconventionally glamorous and adding vibrant aura to the event was the live music. With the core theme of Style: More Than You Think, the event commenced with a glamorous and thought-provoking preview by Falguni Shane Peacock and Shantanu and Nikhil. The event held at the N Convention drew wide applause from the who’s who of the city.

LUXURY AND MORE

The Collective, a luxury retail concept from Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., introduced the city to some of most iconic luxury fashion brands with the launch of their ninth store. The stand-alone store, spread over 5,000 sq.ft., is located at Banjara Hills and houses high-end brands like Armani Collezioni, Dsqaured2, McQ Alexander McQueen, Fred Perry, Hackett London and Hugo Boss Green. Hosted by Purple Martini, the evening had the big wigs of the city in attendance, enjoying finger-foods, music and fine drinks.

GLITTERING FESTIVITIES

It is believed that anything purchased on the holy occasion of Dhanteras multiplies and the buyer flourishes. Manepally Jewellery, on this auspicious day, announced exclusive offers, giving shoppers the luxury of choice. Murli Krishna, Director said, "We are a customer’s brand with 127 years of legacy. KICK-STARTING FESTIVITIES

To usher in the spirit of the upcoming festival season, an elaborate cake mixing ceremony was organised at Mercure Hyderabad KCP. The air was charged with pre-Christmas cheers and festive songs providing a perfect background. Renowned Singer Steve Adams played music, setting the tone for a perfect afternoon. The prominent city bloggers along with the charming women from Sanskruti Mahila Club, socialites and corporate guests attended the event. The event saw guests, hotel associates and the senior management team actively participating in the cake mixing ceremony. The guests were seen bonding over tea, a delightful spread of accompaniments and festive delicacies.

SHOPPING FUN

Swetha Reddy hosted the 3rd season of her exhibition and sale S-Mode at the FNCC Filmnagar Cultural Center with 22 designers’ stalls. A fine range of designer wear with handpicked saris, kurtas, gold and diamond jewellery, murals and other items had the guests spoilt for choice. Spotted shopping were Bhavna, Shilpa Singh, Sana Khan, Jyoti Reddy, Sri Priya and Vani Reddy.

PROMOTING ARTS

The Telangana Artists Association launched an exclusive event An Artist’s Raions D’Etre. The objective was to promote local artists of Telangana globally. It showcased artworks of 27 artists on the theme The Quest of Delight, a mime act directed by Danish Khan, a live painting session by Koeli Mukherjee Ghosh and a Kuchipudi recital by Vaishnavi Lanka. Inayah Sharon Aamir, DJ Piyush Bajaj, Imran Khan, Sravanthi Juluri, Aliya Baig, Danish Khan, Esha Hondocha, Sami Khan & Ehtesham were the board members.

SPARKLING STORIES

Panache – The Luxury Expo opened to a great first day at Hitex Exhibition Centre. Organised by GEMKonnect in association with the Federation of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the expo impressed the City of Pearls with more than 10,000 collection of designer jewellery, fascinating seminars on diamonds, precious stones and even pearls. The launch of wedding collection by well-known designers and the experience zones for brides-to-be were a hit.

FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Hyderabad witnessed the 5th edition of Food For Change which is a fund raising event for Project 511. The event was attended by Rakul Preet Singh, Vijay Devarakonda, Sangita Reddy, MP Vishweshwar Reddy, Senior Bureaucrat D.Suresh Babu and many eminent personalities. The proceeds of black-tie, charity event will be used to provide quality educational facility to the students of government schools. Speaking on Project 511, Chairman Srinivasan Namala said, “We got support from the government, Round Tables, corporates and individual donors. We will be completing our project by the end of next year. We have also started English teaching programme as a pilot project in as many as 25 schools.”

With Christmas just a few weeks away, renowned page3 personalities and big-wigs are on a cake-mixing spree. The latest event, held at The Park, saw many women having a great time, mixing up the necessary ingredients. The do saw the socialites laughing their hearts out, as they bonded with each other. Clicking pretty pictures were Ananya Simlai, Annu Kishore, Shalini Baruka, Sarita Lohiya, Shagun Ali and Geet Gupta. The event was a big hit.

Junior Kuppana, a South Indian restaurant offering mouth-watering dishes, has been winning hearts for years. It has gained immense popularity among the public and achieved an iconic status in the industry serving genuine Telugu cuisine. Encouraged by the response, this brand recently opened its branch in Gachibowli.
