Breast cancer is the top killer in women over 30 years. The incidence is increasing due to

Early detection can be done through signs and symptoms like lump in the breast/axilla, skin changes, bloody discharge from nipple or ulceration. Screening is the systematic application of a screening test in a presumably asymptomatic population to identify individuals with abnormality suggestive of cancer. Mammography is the only screening method that has proven to be effective in reducing mortality as it identifies the cancers before they reach clinical presentation.
